"Excellent follow up"

About: Corner Place Surgery

I attended the surgery with my son and was seen by a registra doctor. He listened and noted all my current health issues in a kindly and professional manner. He promised to follow these up and make any necessary referrals. Subsequently he called me to check on progress which was comforting to me and greatly appreciated. My hip surgery has been postponed several times and osteoporosis has caused me great pain in my back and affected my walking and how I care for myself at home. Other agencies are now helping me through my interview with the doctor. One thing I particularly have appreciated have been the calls from the surgery to check on my health and would appreciate it if they can be continued every few weeks, lasting just a minute or so, just to boost my confidence and check on my well-being.

It’s heartening to know that the follow-up calls have brought you comfort and reassurance during what sounds like a very challenging time.

We're sorry to hear about the delays to your hip surgery and the pain you’ve been experiencing as a result of osteoporosis. We understand how much of an impact this can have on your daily life, and we’re glad that you now have additional support from other agencies.
