"The change to the quality of my life is amazing"

About: Queen Margaret Hospital / Cataract Unit

(as the patient),

Had my 2nd eye's Cataract Surgery at the Cataract Unit, Queen Margaret Hospital Dunfermline.

The staff were very friendly and pleasant, and also very reassuring.

This being my second eye to be operated on, I was less worried. Prof Saunders who did the operation, along with her team, was very kind, pleasant and reassuring, and I cannot thank her enough.

After my first operation in October on my right eye, it had better vision the next morning, than it had had for possibly 20 years.

This second operation on my left eye, took marginally longer to reach excellent, which was a great improvement from only focusing on items with 4-5 inches, without spectacles, before the operation.

The change to the quality of my life is amazing.

Lastly, I find it easier to get my partner to put my drops in for me.
