I didn’t feel heard during my consultation.

I talked about my symptoms but I felt like the doctor wasn’t listening to me. She prescribed medication despite me expressing wanting talk therapy too. She offered a service I’ve already tried and did not seem to listen when I told her I wanted to try something longer term.

I’m already taking headache medication and she didn’t address my question regarding any possible interactions with the antidepressants.

The recent interaction made me not want to try the service again despite needing it.

I hope the doctors are more patient-focused.
