"All the staff were amazing"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Accident & Emergency Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Acute Receiving Unit (Units 1-5) Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Elderly Medicine (Wards 51, 52, 54,55, 57, 8a & 2a)

(as a relative),

My dad was admitted to hospital after a fall at home and varying other health concerns. He was transferred from A&E to ARU and then to Ward 51 at the QEUH, Glasgow, where he remained until he was discharged.

All the staff were amazing and in particular, I could see that everyone in Ward 51 was so caring and compassionate. Staff were very quick to assist with his needs and took the time to talk to us about any concerns we had, despite it being such a busy ward.

Brian, Peter, Ellie, Andy and all the staff we met, left us reassured that our dad was in good hands

Dear Gratefulfamily25,

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your fathers recent experience in Ward 51. I will share with the Senior Charge Nurse and the multidisciplinary team.

Kind Regards,

Rebecca Fulton, Interim Clinical Service Manager
