About: Enhanced Care / GP out of hours

(as a carer),

I contacted the SHSCT out of hours GP due my grandmother's GP surgery being closed and requiring urgent input. My call was answered by the lovely receptionist Meabh. Meabh listened to my concerns attentively and had such a friendly and reassuring manner.

The Out of hours GP contacted me, dealt with my concerns efficiently and I must add the GP was exceptional too. Meabh completed the relevant follow up to ensure we received the prescription for my grandmother in a timely manner.

Meabh you were an absolute breath of fresh air on the phone and I truly hope you never lose this person centre approach in amongst the demands/ difficulties of the service you work in. Thank you once again for your help today. Credit where credit is due.

It's lovely to hear that Meabh was able to provide the support and reassurance you needed during your call, and that the GP was also able to address your concerns effectively. Our team strive to maintain a caring, person-centred approach in all we do so feedback like yours is incredibly encouraging. We are so privileged to have a job where we can care for people and make a difference.
