"Efficient, friendly atmosphere"

About: Arbroath Infirmary / Minor Injuries

(as a parent/guardian),

My son injured his finger at school and we made an appoitment through our local GP (Brechin) to attend Arbroath Minor Injuries Unit.

He had an initial assessment, x-ray and follow up consultation and referral within the space of 40 mins. Brilliant!

These local hospitals seem to be the NHS at its best - efficient, friendly atmosphere with nursing staff appearing to have autonomy and accountability to follow through.

Dear aquilamt85

Thank you for taking the time to complete a Care Opinion. Your opinion really matters to us and helps us to shape and improve our service.

I am sorry to hear your son had a finger injury at school but delighted you were seen promptly in the Minor Injuries Unit and felt your son was seen efficiently and within a friendly atmosphere.

I will ensure the team in Minor Injuries are informed of your kind comments and wish your son a speedy recovery.

Best wishes
