As a family, we would like to express our heartfelt thanks to our GP for his care, compassion and responsiveness over the past 3 months. We have experienced a traumatic period where our daughter sustained a head injury and our son was extremely unwell with appendicitis and peritonitis, which required an extended stay in hospital.
Our GP was able to provide clear advice to both of our children whilst directing them to appropriate hospital services for further investigations and treatment as needed. He was able to reassure our concerns and would pro-actively telephone us to check on the condition of our son. He understood the impact that these events had upon our family more generally and supported their mother to take time off work to support the children and take care of myself.
Our GP’s care has been exemplary and we are so pleased and grateful that he is the GP for our family.
