Lauren, the Cancer nurse specialist in dermatology outpatients today was excellent when I attended a recent appointment with my mother for a procedure.
She explained everything in great detail and in a way that my mother understood and at a good pace as my mother uses hearing aids.
She was also considerate of my mother's mobility needs due to a recent fracture and helped her mobilise on and off procedure bed with care.
She chatted with my mum and eased mum's anxiety regarding the procedure asking questions regarding herself and her life during the procedure.
