"A quick visit!"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Emergency Department

(as a parent/guardian),

We attended ED department recently after my little girl sustained a head injury. We were greeted with a lovely receptionist who took time to understand our situation and reassured my daughter who was still upset.

We were very quickly taken through to triage and attended to by a nurse & CSW, followed by a Dr. All the staff were friendly and gave full attention to my daughter.

Her wound was glued and we were out of the department within half an hour with worsening advice.

A very calm and positive experience for a child who had lots of anxiety about being in the hospital (and a worried mum!) thanks again to all the staff!

Dear rosrob2025,

Thank you for sharing your experience of University Hospital Wishaw, Emergency Department.

I am sorry to hear your little girl had a head injury and needed hospital treatment. It must have been a very frightening time for you both and I am so pleased that all staff helped to reassure you and your little girl. I am glad that you were taken and treated quickly.

I will ensure your kind words are passed on to the whole team who I am sure will get a real boost in hearing your feedback.

I hope your little girl is feeling better soon.

Best Wishes,

Jenni
