"Minor Ops Service"

About: Queen Margaret Hospital / Ophthalmology

(as the patient),

Prior to the appointment I thought I was only going for an assessment but once entering the room, I realised that I was having a treatment that day. I instantly felt anxious but Karen & Steph continually made me feel calm & ready for the procedure. The process from beginning to end was smooth, the whole procedure was explained well, was quick & safe. An incision was made on my lower eye lid to remove 2 cysts, which was done professionally & calmly. Without Karen or Steph, calming me down & making me feel as ease, I’m not sure if I would’ve went through with the procedure on the day.

Dear sunny14xo,

Thanks for taking the time to leave a response on care opinion about your procedure on your lower eyelid. I am glad both Karen and Steph made you feel at ease, that you felt well informed and able to go ahead on the day with the procedure despite you feeling anxious.

I will pass on your comments to Karen and Steph who will be delighted that you have taken the time to comment and that they made you feel reassured and at ease.

We wish you well with your recovery,

Kind Regards

Pamela Harley
