"Perforated eardrum"

About: Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford) / Ear, Nose and Throat

(as a service user),

My eardrum perforated. Unfortunately one ear is totally deaf after surgery to remove an acoustic neuroma.

My Dr saw me right away and rang the ENT department. I was seen within 2 weeks, again at four and six weeks. I have received excemplary care and hearing is slowly returning.

I have been reassured and can ring direct if I should have any problems.

We are so fortunate to have such excellent service.

Thankyou to all concerned.
