"Efforts in reassuring her and making her feel comfortable"

About: Royal Hospital for Children (Glasgow) / Accident & Emergency Royal Hospital for Children (Glasgow) / Day surgery

(as a parent/guardian),

I would like to express my gratitude for the exceptional care provided to my daughter, during our recent visit to the Royal Hospital for Children.

The experience after her injury was quite distressing for her, particularly at A&E because of the cleaning of her wounds, which made her anxious about returning to the hospital.

I want to extend a special thanks to the staff, especially student nurse Eve and nursing assistant Chris, for their efforts in reassuring her and making her feel comfortable during the visit.

Thank you to you both.

Hi corridortq59

Thank you for your kind comments on your recent stay in Ward 1A/B. I'm sorry to hear of your daughters recent accident but pleased that everything went as smoothly as possible. It can be a traumatic time having to attend hospital, both for your daughter and yourself. I will pass on your thanks to all the team, especially Chris and Eve. It is always nice to receive positive feedback about the care delivered and I hope your daughter is recovering well from her accident.

Again, thank your for taking the time to leave your feedback.

Best wishes

Suzanne Pearson
