"Fantastic care"

About: Royal Alexandra Hospital / Medical Assessment Unit (MAU)

(as the patient),

A few weeks ago I got treated for possible stroke which turned out to be a facial migraine. During my 24 hours in MAU I got the most amazing care especially when I was so scared about my health.

Staff were very caring and attentive it made me feel less alone. Everyone from domestics to consultants showed nothing but care and compassion for that I thank you xx

Dear LS1984

Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us on Care Opinion. We are truly heartened to hear that you received such compassionate and attentive care during what must have been a frightening time.

Our teams—across every role from domestic staff to consultants—work hard to ensure patients feel safe, supported, and treated with dignity, and it means a great deal to know that this made a difference to you.

We will make sure your kind words are passed on to the staff in the Medical Assessment Unit who I'm sure will be touched to hear you had such a positive experience while under their care.

Wishing you continued good health and recovery.

Kind regards

Kevin
