Further to noticing heart palpitations and occasional low pulse rate, I contacted the surgery. I was called in the same day for immediate assessment. A full range of tests followed, including a repeat Echocardiogram because the first was inconclusive. Buying a blood pressure monitor to use at home was useful and enabled a 'tuning' of the prescribed medication to a lower dose than initially prescribed, in consultation with the surgery. Liaison with the doctor and the hospital consultant at St Peter's has been good.
