"All the staff were attentive and prompt"

About: Royal Hospital for Children (Glasgow) / Accident & Emergency Royal Hospital for Children (Glasgow) / Ear, Nose & Throat (ward 3b)

(as a relative),

We attended ED due to concerns about my  nephew having a complication from a middle ear infection. From when he first entered the department to leaving for a ward, all the staff were attentive and prompt in the care they provided. I wish I could remember the nurses names as they were all brilliant. The ENT team were also very prompt to review him.

I’d like to personally thank Dr Aoife for her care with him as she was wonderful. I would love if this could be passed on to her and wish her all the best in her paediatric career.

Dear Lucy67

Thank you so much for sharing your kind words about your recent experience in the Emergency Department of the Royal Hospital for Children.

We’re really pleased to hear that your nephew received attentive and prompt care throughout his time with us. It's heartening to know that the nursing staff and the ENT team made a positive difference during what must have been a worrying time.

A special thank you for highlighting Dr Aoife’s care—we will make sure your message is passed on to her and the rest of the team involved in his care.

Wishing your nephew a smooth and full recovery.

Kind regards

Kevin
