"Goes above and beyond"

I recently had an appointment regarding a knee injury which was initially recorded as a sprain (by a different organisation). After the injury worsened, I called my GP practice. The receptionist very kindly booked a consultation for the same day. The doctor I was assigned to was patient and understanding. She asked all the right questions and promptly signposted me to the correct hospital department. I was seen the same day by this department. As it stands, I sustained ligament damage in multiple parts of my knee. Had I not been seen so quickly, it is likely I would have significantly worsened the injury by attempting to continue my daily activities. I am incredibly grateful for the way in which my case was handled. The staff members were polite, knowledgeable and genuinely seemed to care for my wellbeing.
