"Good Emergency Paediatric Experience"

About: Sunderland Royal Hospital / Accident and emergency Sunderland Royal Hospital / Paediatrics

(as a parent/guardian),

Whilst on a visit from Scotland, our eldest child had an unfortunate incident on an inflatable assault course at a party. Unable to move his arm and in pain, we were seen quickly and efficiently at the paediatric ED in Sunderland. Although it was busy, we were triaged quickly, had prompt X-Rays and a quick manipulation later, the pulled elbow was fixed. From reception, triage, ANP and Consultant we would like to thank everyone.

People can be quick to criticise or complain for NHS care,  but we can only highly praise the treatment received at the kids ED in Sunderland.
