"The worst GP practice in greater Manchester"

About: Dam Head Medical Centre

There are hundreds of misleading reviews of this place and it's often advertised that way when people are moving to the area. Dam head medical center. Is an extremely overwhelmed practice. 'D. You would be very lucky if you got an appointment to see the doctor within a week. I have been a patient of this place for 12 years and their service has always been appalling. They are extremely stretched and overwhelmed. The building is the size of a shoe box. Stuffy. I don't really have an issue with the any of the staff but the way this place is run and managed is appalling. The receptionists will constantly tell you to ring back at 8:00 the next day to get an appointment. However, when you do ring the next day you will be in a giant queue and by the time you speak to the same receptionist she spoke to yesterday, she will then repeat the same thing. Call back tomorrow at 8.00 it's extremely hard to get appointments from this place you're ideally looking at weeks of waiting And they will not book you in. You will be continuously told to call back at 8. Everytime. As I stated earlier, I have been a patient of this practice for 12 years and it's been terrible for all 12 years. They briefly renovated the space. But this is to no avail. The service is still shockingly bad. Everything is very rushed when u do get to see the doctor. Unfortunately, if you are a patient with any kind of mental illness, or Long-Term illness that needs treatment. you should probably leave this practice all together. It genuinely is the worst health practice in England
