"Just awful!!!"

June 2023 I managed to get an appointment with a physio because of my hip. Subsequently had an X-ray and was informed that I had severe arthritis and needed a hip replacement. I've just tried to find out what is happening (April 2025) as I'm deteriorating, and now my other hip is becoming painful. Impossible to get an appointment to see a GP! Today, I was told to phone "the secretaries". I gave up after 15minutes of elevator music, but I will try again, though I don't hold much hope. I don't normally seek doctor's help. The last time was 9 years ago when I developed a violent and persistent cough. Having just started a new job, my employers insisted I obtained sign off from a doctor. Off to the Mounts Medical Centre. I was prescribed antibiotics without any invetigation as to why I was coughing. I believe the antibiotics were new, poorly tested medication. So, I am found collapsed in a coma, with acute kidney failure. Three months wasting away in a hospital bed. I had to learn to walk again, and it took me over a year to get back to my former fit self.
