"A stroke"

About: Community Wards / Stroke Unit Ninewells Hospital / Acute Medical Unit (AMU) Speech & Language Therapy

(as a service user),

I had a stroke last year following a long haul flight.

I received very thorough and compassionate treatment and help from the NHS, both at the Acute Medical Ward at Ninewells and from the Stroke Unit and the Speech Therapy Department at PRI. I am very grateful for their continuing support, without which my recovery would not have been so effective.
