"The exercises were tailored to individuals level and needs"

About: North Devon District Hospital / Parkinson's Service

(as the patient),

I attended the power up group for Parkinsons disease in Barnstaple, North Devon.

Extremely good delivery of a Therapeutic course plus condition management. It was delivered by dedicated, knowledgeable and friendly staff.

Everyone was treated with respect. The exercises were tailored to individuals level and needs.

I've been motivated to do my exercises that have shown a clear improvement in my symptoms.

Dear novembertt77,

I'm sorry for the delay in responding to your lovely feedback about Power UP! I am so please that you found the course to be helpful in both the exercise and the education elements around Parkinson's. It is my aim to make exercise accessible to everyone and adapt the exercise to each person's ability.

Well done in keeping up with your exercises! I am pleased you can see the benefits in doing them. Just in case you haven't, remember there are lots of free exercise classes in the community that you can access. These are generously funded by the local Parkinson's UK branch.

Best wishes

Suzanne
