About: Newham General Hospital / Gynaecology

(as the patient),

Went in for hysteroscopy with GA for uterine polyp removal. I was nervous. Was admitted to Forest Ward, Newham Hospital.

The whole procedure was so efficient -  from receptionist, all the nurses, ward sister, & recovery nurse. The Gynae doctor and Surgeon were fantastic, together with the anaesthetic team who all came to visit me before the procedure.

All went very well and my BP dropped to normal range as it was high when I arrived with anxiety, Walked to theatre and had a little laugh with anaesthetic team and then I don’t remember any more. 

I can’t thank you all enough for the wonderful care. I even got a text from the doctor setting out answers to some questions I had raised pre-operatively. Thank you.
