My appointment was scheduled for 11h40 so arrived in good time. At 11h20 the Consultant Dermatologist herself came to call me in.
She was charming, professional and re-assuring that my problem was not cancer and prescribed the necessary treatment. to be collected from the hospital pharmacy. A thirty-minute wait in the Cafeteria and I was able to leave with my medication and a really positive attitude.
Who dares to say that our NHS is not the best -- because it is.
