About: Outpatients Services / MSK Physiotherapy Outpatients

(as a service user),

Following Chemo for Stage 3 hodgkins Lymphoma I embarked on a 2 year immunotherapy infusion programme (8 weekly). I found this intervention challenging causing incredible fatigue, balance issues and limited strength. I really appreciated the weekly physio programme where great care was taken by the physio to ensure that I was doing the exercises correctly to ensure maximum benefit from them. I feel much better now regarding my strength and balance . Thank you.

Hi Lady Birdz

Thank you so much for taking the time to voice your thoughts on the service provided by physiotherapy. I am so glad that you benefited from the weekly physio programme and that this helped to improve your strength and balance. Please continue to keep active because research evidence shows that this helps to combat treatment related fatigue.

Kind Regards
