"The experience was excellent"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Orthopaedics (Wards 10a, 10b, 10c &10d)

(as a service user),

I would like to express my sincere gratitude towards the work of the QUEH Orthopaedic team, led by Surgeon Mr Bell.

I had surgery for a knee injury and the entire team took such care to ensure the experience was excellent. The nurses and the auxiliaries on the ward were so kind, and always working with a smile.

Mr Bell and the surgical team were outstanding, taking time to outline options and possible outcomes. The surgery has healed beautifully. I have now been discharged and my knee is like new.

Thank you again for everything you have done for me, you have given me back my mobility and ability to run after my toddler like any other mum. I can never thank you enough!

Dear Nom123

Thank you for taking time to contact us following your recent stay in orthopaedics at QEUH.

I am pleased to hear that Mr Bell and the other clinical staff were friendly, kind, cheerful and caring and that you feel you received excellent treatment.

It is gratifying for staff to receive such positive feedback and I will share your kind words with the Ortho team.

It's great that you have made such a good recovery, I'm sure your toddler is keeping you active!

Thanks again

Morag Busby, Lead Nurse Trauma and Orthopaedics
