"Gained optimism for the future"

About: Bideford Hospital / Therapies

(as the patient),

I joined a course called Escape Pain for exercise classes to help with the pain from osteoarthritis in my right hip and knee.

The classes were very well organised and the attendance of at least 2 physiotherapists to help and advise every step of the way was invaluable. I started the 6 week course with a limp from the constant pain and ended with optimism for the future, the pain won’t go away but I now have the tools to deal with it and strengthen my muscles to hopefully avoid replacement surgery in the future.

Hi BellaPoppy,

Thank you for your feedback after attending the Escape Pain exercises classes at Bideford Hospital. I'm very pleased to hear that it was a positive experience and you feel more optimistic for the future. I will share this with those who ran the classes.
