"Out of hours experience"

About: Adult Health & Support Services / Primary Care Out of Hours

(as a parent/guardian),

My son unfortunately had to visit out of hours in Douglas Street Hamilton, my son has autism and non verbal.

From arriving at Douglas street we were given a private room to accommodate his sensory needs without even having to ask, we then went through to get his obs done and the nurses were amazing with him, so relatable and couldn’t do anymore for us.

The star of the show has to Dr Coates, what an amazing doctor and a total credit to the NHS completely worth his weight in gold and a a lot more. You can see he has complete passion for his field and the care he gave my son along with his patience was so amazing.

Since birth my son has had a lot hospital stays, visits etc and I just wish Dr Coates could be at everyone.

Thanks to all staff you all do an amazing job x

Good afternoon Nicole84094.

Thank you so much for taking the time to post about your positive experience when you had to bring your son to an appointment at the Primary Care Out of Hours service, Douglas Street, Hamilton.

I will pass on your lovely comments to Dr Coates and the Team who will be very grateful to hear the care and attention shown was greatly appreciated.

I hope your son is now improving.

Take care, Pamela.
