I went into the Haywood walk-in after a week and a half of ongoing muscle pain in my neck and shoulder. Went in as soon as it opened as the discomfort was preventing me from sleeping properly. Was seen by one of the team (didn't introduce themself) who then seemed very dismissive with me and why i was there. I used the wrong word to describe what i was feeling and they immediately responded with an attitude that i didn't expect from someone i was trying to explain myself to. I felt totally belittled. I was there because i didn't want to go to a&e as i didn't feel my complaint was an emergency, i was there at the weekend for some advice and potentially support until my GP was open. I feel this team member's attitude was disgusting and was totally uncalled for, i left as soon as possible because i felt humiliated. I should not be made to feel so small in place where i'm asking for advice.
"I felt humiliated"
