I had a stoma reversal in City Hospital Sept 2024. Many thanks to Mr Armstrong and his team, the operation went great. However, later that evening I was taken to ICU with sepsis. I was in a coma for five weeks, ICU six weeks total.
God bless the people who looked after me who saved my life. The only consultant whose name I could get was Mr Strange but there were two. To these two men and their team I owe my life. Thank you.
When I came out of the coma the nurses and ancillary staff were also amazing. There is not enough space here to say what they done for me. Unfortunately I can't remember all their names. So a big big thank you. I do remember Connor, Chris and Ruari.
The craic was great. Thanks a million. When I told people the craic, no one would believe me. But they and all the staff made my last week a pleasure. Great, professional, caring staff. May your God bless you all.
