"Every single member of staff was wonderful"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Cardiology (Ward 4) University Hospital Wishaw / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I am currently undergoing test for heart palpitations and dizziness. I went to Wishaw General A&E with fast heart and dizziness two weeks ago. Every single member of staff was wonderful. My cardiologist even came down from her own busy schedule to check in with me.

I was kept in for 5 days to monitor my heart rate and the effects of a new medication I was given. I was in Medical Assessment Unit 1 and every single member of staff from cleaners to auxiliaries, nurses and doctors couldn’t have been better. I am very grateful for the care I received.

Dear Hospital Stay,

Than you for taking the time to share your recent experience via care opinion. I am pleased to hear that you had a positive experience within our Emergency Department and Medical Assessment Unit 1 and will share your lovely comments with the teams. I will also share your story with your cardiologist, as you have mentioned how grateful you are to her too!

I hope your symptoms are settling well with your new medication and that you're feeling much better.

Best wishes,

Julie.
