"Ward staff"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Acute Receiving Unit (Units 1-5) Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Blood vessel problems ( Vascular Ward 11a &11d)

(as the patient),

I was recently admitted to ARU5 at the QEUH, Glasgow. The care, as always, was exceptional. I can't remember everyone's name, but I would like to thank HCA Jackie and staff nurse Daniel (he is a sweetheart). Daniel bent over backwards to help me with a personal issue.

I was then transferred to ward 11D and remained there for 2 nights. Again, I can't thank the staff enough. Drs Bryony, Guy and Shaun were excellent. Staff nurses Rebekah, Jenny and Titan (he was hilarious), and all the other staff, Yvonne,  Lynsey, Rachael and Anne were superb too.

Unusual to say, but I miss all staff once I'm home. Many thanks to you all xx

Dear NHSRules

Thank you for taking the time to share your positive experience of the care within the services during your recent stay. The staff will be delighted to hear your praise of the teams and that you felt that they went above and beyond to help. This will be shared with the teams and those that you have personally named. The team strive to provide excellent care and your feedback demonstrates that this has been experienced during visits to these services in ARU 5 and 11D.

Kind regards

Marie Austin
