"Preparation for knee surgery"

About: New Cross Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as a relative),

My mother has arthritis, cartilage has gone in both knees, so need to have knee replacement surgery. Severe pain in both knees.

Came to joint school with my mum, not knowing what to expect. Really informative and cleared anxiety and answered a lot of questions about the surgery and what to expect afterwards.

It provided me with clear aftercare information and physio advice.

Great service, Kate and Sian were really friendly and were very supportive, as I was concerned about the aftercare support and my mum's dietary requirements.
