About: Triveni Pms

very unprofessional. i attended my first one on 23 march to be sent text message on 7 april that I did not attend. with a no comment. i had gone in to the plumstead surgery as soon as i see it. told receptionist it is not her fault. She checked my details and said she would let them know. went home rung them myself and they assured me i went. my results today have arrived no comment. 10 april the letter 3 april on it. don’t do this to your patients without checking it causes a lot of worry. all it takes is a phone call. but I’m still down as not attending.

Dear Patient

Firstly may I thank you for your feedback regarding your recent breast screening.

After looking into this matter it seems that the short time frame between you attending your screening on 23 March and the results being sent out to both yourself and the practice which were received on the 10 April, an error occurred whereby a text was sent to you in between these dates. I have reported this to our administration team to investigate so that protocols can be put in to place to try and prevent this happening again. We do hope that you can accept our apology for this error.

As you can appreciate the breast screening campaign is a national campaign and it is impossible for surgeries to call each patient on the list and we apologise that we do not have capacity to do this within our practice. We do however, follow the national guidelines for calling patients via text or email, it was the short time limit of appointment/attending/results that let us down in this instance.

At Triveni PMS we do our best to help patients and are available to talk to about any concerns patients might have. Either myself, Lisa Fisher or Lesley Brailey are available at the practice to talk to patients if they have concerns or worries. I do hope that in future if anything else arises that you have concerns about then please do approach on of us.

Thank you once again for taking the time for your feedback which is most appreciated.

J Whitall, Practice Manager
