About: University Hospital Wishaw / Cardiology (Ward 4)

(as the patient),

I am really delighted with my care, I am new in the area but I managed with the help to get an early access appointment for cardiovascular. 

They gave me a very good examination and discovered i have an irregular heartbeat.

Previously I had an heart attack so they moved very quickly to get me sorted, i have stents fitted now. 

They are so thoughtful and nurse Adam has given advice on what i need to do and when to call 999.  They just listen and are so thoughtful. 

Need more people like this.  Thank you

It can be a worrying time attending hospital for an appointment, especially if it is in an area that you don't really know, and I am delighted to hear that you were quickly seen and treatment scheduled. This must have been very reassuring for you.
