My son recently went in for an ACL reconstruction at Musgrave Hospital, Belfast. He was in paediatrics, Withers Ward.
The support and care we received from beginning to end was just brilliant! From the friendly receptionist when we first arrived, my son being allocated a wonderful nurse called Alanah, who was so helpful, conscientious and supportive, she couldn't have been any better. There is a lovely atmosphere on the ward, everyone seems to get on and enjoy their work. It was a pleasure to see.
Every one of the staff members that we came into contact with, which were many, were friendly, helpful and genuinely nice people; the ward nurses, theatre staff, surgeon, physiotherapists, recovery staff, even the staff in the canteen!
I am so grateful for all their efforts, as it made the whole experience much more positive.
The ward also seems extremely well organised and very efficient.
"The fabulous service my son received while having day surgery"
