"Amazing support for my mum"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Orthopaedics Scottish Ambulance Service / Emergency Ambulance

(as a relative),

My mum - who is in her late 80s -  was admitted to ARI with an open fracture to her right wrist following a fall at home.

All of the staff who have supported her were amazing - from the paramedics who came to help at her house and got her safely to hospital, to the surgeons who performed the operation and kept us updated with what next steps would be.

I would like to single out one nurse in particular (Lottie)  for her personal care for both mum and us as a family. Nothing was too much bother and she followed through on everything she said she would. She always had a smile and was knowledgeable about mum's care and progress.

Hi Sho121,

I'm really sorry to hear about your mum's recent fall, that must have been really distressing for her and the family. I'll leave my colleagues at NHS Grampian to come back on your wider comments but I just wanted to thank you for your kind comments about our staff at the Scottish Ambulance Service.

It's really nice of you to take the time to feed back and say thank you. Our staff will really appreciate this.

Thanks again and I hope your mum is recovering well.

Mark
