I have already sent a card praising this wonderful team however I feel I want to publicly share how amazing they were - for any woman who maybe feeling anxious about any planned admission on this ward. My admission wasn't planned. I had an infection following an earlier procedure in another hospital. It was a bewildering thing to go through, however the staff - each and every single one- were so genuinely warm, caring and professional. I observed other women recovering from hysterectomies being cared for in the same manner. I was in the safest of hands. I'm hoping I don't have cause to go back and unfortunately a hysterectomy might be the only answer for me in the end, however I've now gone from not wanting one at all to accepting that I might, thanks to seeing how these women coped and were treated. If I do have one, I can only hope it is with this amazing team.
