This feedback is about support for my brother and mum.
My brother was really unwell and caught Pneumonia and Sepsis and was admitted to hospital. When he came home, he was bed bound. Tracey, Senior Rehab assistant, came to provide support over a year. He is now out of the bed, walking around and making food for himself. We are all so shocked, and even the doctor didn't think he would get out of bed. She has been amazing, particularly as my brother can be cantankerous. It is sad that she has had to stop. She has been 100% fantastic and without her I don't think he would have got out of bed.
I look after my mum Monday-Friday, and recently she has been ordered an under the bed mattress elevator, and the man came out to fit it, however he removed the handrail, which I was worried about as my mum relies on the handrail. I rang the community team and within an hour and a half they had come out. Sue (OT) and Tracey arrived and said not to worry and sorted it all out for us. They have since ordered a special hand rail that will work with the elevator. They were really patient as I was really worried about it.
I would like to thank Sue and Tracey.
"Amazing support for my brother and mum"
