The very kind lady receptionist today went above and beyond to help connect me with a GP regarding a sensitive issue and meant I did not need to complete unnecessary travel or examinations due to the situation. They provided me kindness and support and advice regarding the issue and I have been prescribed a second course of antibiotics to my newly nominated pharmacy which they kindly updated for me. I cannot express how on many occasions the admin team, staff and receptionists have been nothing short of exceptional in their attitude, speed and kindness towards me and I will always treat them with the utmost respect just the same. The only time I have ever experienced negativity in the practice is from other rude patients, which the staff deal with in a polite and professional manner. Sometimes the doctors are a little short, but I appreciate they are totally exhausted and so I empathise with them all. I do wish patient access had more appointment availability, but understand it may not be possible and that mental health had a better pathway to treatment. However, I can't thank the Carrington house team enough for always responding to my emails swiftly and treating me with care and kindness and being constantly helpful and informative. Additionally the surgery is always clean and tidy and smells clean too and having the BMI/blood pressure machine is incredibly helpful. I would only suggest that the downstairs public toilet be looked at as the hot tap is janky and the toilet paper doesn't flush properly. Minor things compared to the otherwise great service. Telephone appointments are also fantastic so unnecessary travel is avoided and less exposure to other sick people when not needed is great. Keep up the wonderful work you do please!
