"Enjoyed group sessions for post natal depression"

About: Inclusion Matters Liverpool

(as the patient),

I recently went on the group therapy sessions for Post Natal Depression and thought that it was the best thing I could have ever done. Being able to talk freely in front of other mothers going through the same thing was empowering. Listening to others and seeing how they are suffering allowed me to realise that I was not alone.

The one on one sessions that I went to before were perfect because they allowed me to talk, following on from that, attending the group sessions was invaluable. I truly believe the best way to combat PND is through group sessions.

I haven’t looked back yet.

Dear Back919

Thank you so very much for this feedback and I will ensure it is passed on to our group therapists. I'm particularly glad you mentioned how useful being in a group was as this may give others who are unsure about it some reassurance. I think it is certainly incredibly helpful to be able to talk to others and share experiences as you describe.

I wish you all the very best for the future and hope that you continue to look forwards.

Kind regards

Heather
