"She is our ray of sunshine"

About: General practices in Greater Glasgow & Clyde

(as the patient),

Over the past few years I have become a woman of a certain age and have been going through the Menopause.

I approached the practice and then regularly had to check in with Sister Angela on a regular basis for blood pressure checks.

What a ray of sunshine she is. She is always so bubbly and friendly. She is extremely knowledgeable of all subjects and has in particular eased my fears about my health. She is reassuring and takes her time with all patients.

I attended the practice recently and she sorted my issues and eased my fears. I was extremely emotional due to issues and I left feeling at ease smiling. This is something I haven’t done in a few weeks.

People like Sister Angela should be celebrated!! All practices should have an amazing knowledgeable reassuring person like her but I’m glad at The Lynas and Rodgers practice she is our ray of sunshine.

Dear Lucky!

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with the team at The Lynas and Rodgers Practice, and in particular your kind words about Sister Angela.

It’s truly heart warming to hear how much of a positive impact Sister Angela has had on your journey through what can be a very challenging and emotional time. Your description of her as a “ray of sunshine” is wonderful, and it’s clear from your message that her friendly, knowledgeable, and compassionate care has made a real difference to your wellbeing.

We know that navigating the menopause can bring both physical and emotional challenges, so to hear that Angela not only provided reassurance and expert advice but also helped restore your smile is something we’re incredibly proud of.

Your feedback will be shared directly with Sister Angela and the wider practice team. Recognition like this goes a long way in reminding staff just how valued they are by the people they care for every day.

Thank you again for your thoughtful words and for highlighting the importance of compassionate, person-centred care.

We wish you continued health and happiness, and we’re so glad that you feel supported and cared for by your practice.

Kind regards

Kevin
