"It’s a safe space to speak"

About: Talking Therapies Doncaster

(as a service user),

To be honest I didn’t think there was any point of talking therapy however I was proven very wrong as the service made me feel like a normal human and helped to validate my health problems - it’s a person to talk to about long term health conditions and although the service doesn’t diagnose; the person you speak to has understanding and terms for things you are facing and you’ll be amazed at the simple acknowledgment of what you are going through and they can help guide you to live with these conditions- it’s a safe space to speak if you need that. I was impressed and felt lighter after just one appointment

Hi Khan503,

My name is Jen, I am a Team Manager in NHS Doncaster Talking Therapies, and I want to thank you for taking the time to leave such lovely feedback about NHS Doncaster Talking Therapies.

It’s really great to hear that you were pleasantly surprised by your experience of talking therapy, and that your therapist helped to validate your feelings and guide you to live with your conditions.

Thanks again for your kind words, it is greatly appreciated.

Kind Regards,

Jen
