(as a service user),

I have been having treatment at the leg ulcer clinic at Hythe Urgent Care Center over the past two months for a long-standing ulcer on my heel. This was a very painful and open wound that has been causing me a problem for at least 18 months.

After several weekly treatments from Monika and Bobbi, the ulcer is at last healing and feeling less painful. I finally feel like it is getting better. Just as importantly, both the nurses have been extremely kind and caring, as well as professional. I am grateful to them for making a difference. Thank you.

Thank you for taking the time to let us know your thoughts.

I am very proud of my team and their diligence towards being both professional and respectful when supporting people in their own homes. It is wonderful to learn that whilst providing individualised, holistic care to their allocated caseload, that staff recognise an evolving clinical scene and supports accordingly.

It is always much appreciated by both the Trust and our employees, when patients or carers who have had a positive experience, take the time to express this in writing. All feedback is recorded to enable us to offer a balanced report that we can draw learning from regarding the patient’s experience of our services.
