Recently had major revision shoulder surgery. The nurses/drs have been so prompt in post-op care. A consult in morning and I’m seen by a nurse for a dressing change within 2 hrs.
Unfortunately I now have an infected wound, given penicillin but had a severe reaction to that, but by sending a further consult request this morning by 8.30 I had a dr call and prescribe new Antibotics.
He was polite, warm, friendly and very reassuring. I’d been up all night worried sick about this infection.
The pharmacy is always busy but a 15/20 min wait is fine compared to some of my friends experiences at their surgeries.
Instead of a small percentage of patients complaining all the time remember it’s one of the busiest if not busiest surgery in Suffolk.
10/10 to all the staff
