"Explained the procedure in a reassuring way"

About: Omagh Primary Care Complex / Day Procedure Unit Omagh Primary Care Complex / Urology

(as a parent/guardian),

My teenage son has been unwell and required further investigations. His Gp referred him to Urology Dr Grimes for tests.  My son attended  DPU in OPHCC  for a procedure.  As you can imagine, for a teenager this would be a very daunting experience.

As soon as we went to DPU, my son was met with a exceptional nurses Nicola, Joan, Chris and Zara who were respectful and explained the procedure in a reassuring way. Dr Grimes took a history and explored my son’s understanding.

My son’s procedure went well.  Dr Grimes took time to explain the results of the procedure and that my son would benefit from a further scan.

The nursing staff were amazing, they went over and above made the whole experience a very positive experience.
