Attended Gartnavel General Hospital - Endoscopy Departmen - , as per planned appointment for an Endoscopy procedure. 

I was welcomed too. Friendly environment from the onset with all staff acting totally professional and supporting me with advice, 1:1 interventions, cannula insertion, bloods, information. 

As someone who has difficulty giving bloods or dealing with needles, all staff were totally supportive and understanding to my fears; they totally acknowledge my fears, concerns and anxiety. They chatted to me, took time to explain stuff. This made the difference to me as they helped me distract and relax. 

From the onset, during and after my procedure, the staff on duty at Endoscopy could not have done enough for me. They totally treated me as an individual, acknowledges my personal concerns and. Supported me throughout the whole interaction and procedure.

This team worked well together inter-professionally, all bands/grades to support me to completion. 

Excellent communication, empathy, engagement and understanding to alleviate my fear of procedure, and necessary interactions throughout. 

The team from health care assistant. Staff nurses (Shannon), before and after procedure, Uchenna and Ashley - staff nurses in my procedure. Endoscopist Kerry who were amazing at keeping me calm, informed and supporting me throughout the endoscopy. The caring, informed manner provided to me and the detailed information, feedback during and after my procedure. 

This team in Endoscopy were amazing, professional and worked inter-professionally to support me, my fears, and excellent risk management throughout. 

The Sister, charge nurse and all this team, all grades worked in an excellent, inclusive, informed and attentive manner at all stages of my appointment, procedure and after care. 

Well done to this team who provided me with an excellent and positive engagement and experience.
