Prostate Biopsy at Northwick Park Hospital Urology Dept.
The attitude of the professional performing the biopsy and her two colleagues also present during the procedure was friendly & sensitive and while projecting a reassuring professionalism.
Initial entry was no more uncomfortable than a digital prostate examination and the injection of the local anaesthetic was rather less painful than the average dental anaesthetic injection.
Following this very brief preparation the actual biopsy, which comprised multiple the taking of multiple samples - was painless.
