"Caring, friendly and put me at my ease"

About: Glasgow Royal Infirmary / Dermatology

(as a service user),

My GP made urgent referral for small black spot on my leg. I was seen by dermatology 8 days later. The doctor decided biopsy was required and the nurse then carried out the procedure under local anaesthetic, all in the same hospital visit.

Dr. MacDonald and nurses Alison and Nadine were caring and friendly and put me at my ease.

Dear Joybj73

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience on Care Opinion.

We’re really pleased to hear that your GP was able to make an urgent referral and that you were seen promptly by the dermatology team. It’s great to know that Dr MacDonald, along with nurses Alison and Nadine, provided such compassionate care and helped you feel at ease during what can be a worrying time.

Your kind words will be passed on to the team involved who I'm sure will be touched to hear you had such a positive experience while under their care.

Wishing you all the best for your recovery and ongoing care.

Kind regards

Kevin
