"Lunch were dry, bland and hardly any filling"

About: Glasgow Royal Infirmary / General Surgery (wards 63, 64, 65, 66,& 67)

(as the patient),

While in ward 63 at Glasgow royal infirmary for 7 days the food served at mealtimes was inedible sandwiches everyday at lunch were dry  bland and hardly any filling Dinner was inedible dry and bland

Breakfast was cereal couldn’t go wrong best meal of the day

I wonder how are people supposed to sustain or build up when food is substandard, this was felt by everyone I spoke to

I suggest that patient survey is carried out and a review of catering is done

People before profit at all times or it should be in my opinion.

Dear Lindalsn051

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your stay in Ward 63 at Glasgow Royal Infirmary. I am sorry to hear about your disappointing experience with the food served during your stay, as providing nourishing and enjoyable meals is an important part of supporting recovery and maintaining patient well-being.

Your feedback and your suggestion regarding a catering survey has been shared with the Catering Team.

Kind Regards

Nicole
