"Caring and put me at ease"

About: Arbroath Infirmary / Out of Hours Service

(as the patient),

Started having a sore throat yesterday evening which progressively got worse throughout the night.

Left tonsil became swollen with white spots. Phoned NHS 24 at about 8am, went through the questionnaire with the call handler and then was forwarded onto a clinician in Tayside.

I was quickly given an appointment for that morning. Nurse was caring and put me at ease and I was given antibiotics for Tonsilitis.

Thank you for your kind words and feedback. It is reassuring to hear you were pleased with the process following your call to NHS 24 and you were seen locally in Arbroath by a nurse in the Out of Hours period.

I hope the antibiotics have helped, your tonsilitis is now resolving and you are feeling better.
